About Me

I graduated with honors from San José State University in Spring 2024 with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Creative Advertising.

While at SJSU, I gained hands-on experience in public relations, journalism, marketing, and advertising, working on high-impact projects. My two capstone courses were especially rewarding, as I collaborated with real-world clients—Shade Rays and Plant Slut—to develop public relations and advertising campaigns, respectively. In addition to these capstones, I pursued a specialized course in copywriting, which deepened my interest in the discipline, along with courses focusing more on design.

Beyond the classroom, I was actively involved in the Spartan Advertising Club, where I held a board position for two semesters. I also interned in marketing for HerCampus at SJSU, which gave me additional insight into digital and content-driven strategies.
Before obtaining my undergraduate degree, I earned an Associate's Degree in journalism and a Certificate in public relations from De Anza College in 2021, where I wrote for their newspaper, La Voz News.

Since I started college, I've also worked at Trader Joe's. I'm approaching six years with the company this spring, and I've even used the brand as a client in one of my projects from school.
In my personal time, I enjoy hiking the scenic spots of the Bay Area, physical and digital collaging, spending time at home with my cat, Adi, and film photography.
