I wrote a one-off article for Slumber Magazine in 2020 where I got to interview the band Wednesday regarding their then-recently released LP - I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone.

Asheville, North Carolina natives, Wednesday, released a new LP on February 7th: I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone. Since then, I’ve used this album as study music but also played it at a get-together I had in honor of my cat’s birthday – I guess you could say it can be whatever you need it to be.

Takeaway
During 2020 stay-at-home orders, this fun project was exactly what I needed. Talking with Karly from Wednesday was inspiring and I felt honored to learn about the inner machinations of this album firsthand.
